A beautiful guided walk along a cool rainforest track to a hard to find, spectacular waterfall.
There is the option to take a dip and pose for photos in the waters below the waterfall, it is about 1 metre deep so safe and easy to swim in.
The Details:
🗓When: Sunday 12 May
⏰Time: Departs 10:00am
🧭Meet at: Sassafras Gully Road
🗺 Difficulty: Moderate (some stairs, creek crossings and rock hopping involved)
⏳Length: 7km, 5 hours, including breaks
🥾Hiking boots: Useful as there are water crossings but Sneakers are ok (closed toe shoes essential)
⛰Fitness level: easy to moderate (most will be fine)
🚻Nearest Toilet: there are no toilets on this walk, but there are public toilets in town in the supermarket carpark.
What to bring:
🎒 A small backpack to keep your hands free and pack the following:
💊essential medication (eg ventolin)
💧1.5 litres of water
⏹A small towel
👙 Cozzies in case you would like a swim!
